Mechanical:
Deutz 3 cylinder 44hp diesel engine - Hydrostatic Drive - Dual vibratory steel drums - Open ROPS - Water spray system (currently inop) - Runs and operates well, low hours for age.
-Oil and filter and air filter changed at 350hrs on current meter
-Fuel filters, engine mounts and drum scrappers changed at 253hrs on current meter.
-Factory hour meter was changed at 854hrs. Current meter shows 396hrs.
Vehicle was maintained in accordance to factory standards, but maintenance records are not available.
Known mechanical issues:
- Water spray system non-functional

Nevada County employees shall not either directly or indirectly participate in the purchase of surplus property if the employee is responsible for surplus declarations, the acceptance of an offer, or assigned to the surplus program within the Procurement Division. In addition members of the Board, the County Executive Officer, County Counsel shall not either directly or indirectly participate in the purchase of surplus property. Fleet Services Division employees are likewise excluded from participating either directly or indirectly in the purchase of surplus County vehicles.

An on-road heavy-duty diesel or alternative-diesel vehicle operated in California may be subject to the California Air Resources Board of Regulations to reduce particulate matter and criteria pollutant emissions from in-use heavy-duty diesel vehicles. It therefore could be subject to exhaust retrofit or accelerated turnover requirements to reduce emissions of air pollutants. Nevada County may require a bid deposit to ensure fairness to all buyers.
PayMac handles all payments for Nevada County.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Nevada County will charge the applicable sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or Nevada County will not release the item to you.
