   Be also advised that the buyer is solely responsible for ALL loading, shipping, transporting, coordinating payments, and pick-ups with our municipality within the proper time frame. No exceptions. Terms and conditions are strictly enforced.

Please bring sufficient equipment, tools, and manpower to assist with the removal of your asset. Our municipality does not assist with loading of any form.

In the event of a third party (non-buyer listed) picking up your items on your behalf, please send an email giving your consent and authorization to allow the third party to remove your items from the premises on your behalf.

The buyer accepts the vehicle in its present AS-IS, WHERE-IS condition, with all faults, known or unknown, and assumes all responsibility for the vehicle and its condition upon taking possession. By purchasing this vehicle, the buyer agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the municipality, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the buyer's ownership, possession, transportation, operation, modification, registration, or use of the vehicle after transfer of possession, including any equipment or components installed on the vehicle.

This provision applies equally to all vehicles, including emergency vehicles.

Mounds Police Department may require a bid deposit.

PayMac handles all payments for Mounds Police Department.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.


Mounds Police Department will charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

Pick-up hours by appointment only.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
