Please be advised that the equipment referenced in this auction is being SOLD AS IS. with no guarantees or warranties—expressed or implied—regarding its functionality, condition, or suitability for any particular purpose.

The buyer acknowledges and accepts that:

• The equipment may not be operational or complete.

• The seller assumes no responsibility for repairs, replacements, or performance after the sale.

• Appropriate Equipment: A specialized truck and trailer combination (such as a drop-deck or RGN trailer) is needed to handle the significant weight of a 9,000-gallon tank (approx. 75,060 lbs when full, plus the weight of the tank and trailer).
• Securement: The tank must be securely chocked or clamped to prevent any shifting. Straps and chains used as tie-downs must be rated to exceed the maximum load and secured against all movement.
• Load Placement: The container must be loaded entirely within the horizontal outline of the vehicle, without overhang, unless specific permits are acquired.
• Potable Water (if applicable): If transporting drinking water, the tank must be watertight, made of an approved material, disinfected monthly, and clearly labeled as "Drinking Water". 

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Due to the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) associated with a load of this size, a driver will almost certainly need a CDL.
• Tanker Endorsement: A tanker endorsement may be necessary for the CDL, as the load is a bulk liquid container over 1,000 gallons.
• Shipping Papers: Even if the tank only contains residue, it must be accompanied by shipping papers detailing the contents. 

• Oversize/Overweight (OS/OW) Permits: The total weight and dimensions will likely exceed standard legal limits, especially when the tank is full. You will need to obtain OS/OW permits from the relevant state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or Department of Transportation (DOT) for every state the load will travel through.
• Route Planning: Permits often include specific route certifications to ensure the movement does not damage highways or infrastructure.
• Federal and Local Regulations: The transport must comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and local government regulations, which may include specific requirements regarding time of travel or escort vehicles.
• Registration: If the tank is an Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) being moved to a new location for use, you may need to register it with the state environmental quality commission, such as the TCEQ in Texas. 

By proceeding with this purchase, the buyer agrees to these terms and understands that the equipment is intended solely for salvage, parts, or non-functional use.
