2004 Ford F-550 4WD type 6, fire truck powered by a 6.0 diesel engine and automatic transmission. Unit has 27,473 miles, runs well and drives good. Truck will need new batteries, starts with a jump. This is a cab and chassis model F-550 with a STAHL built utility box mounted on the rear and a Cascade Fire Equipment Company pump skid in the bed. Skid is powered by a Daihatsu 3 cylinder diesel with 930 hours and equipped with a Waterous pump. Skid water tank holds approximately 250 gallons with a 5-gallon Foam tank. Foam system has been disassembled but water system is in working order. There are no hoses on truck. The hose reel is powered for automatic hose return with a button located on the upper left side of the box. Box has multiple compartments. Right center box has cut out for chain saw blade. Left front box has SCBA tank mounts. Interior in fair condition. Unit equipped with aftermarket center console with light controls, radio and flashlight chargers, Unitrol light/siren controller with P/A. Seats are in fair condition, drivers seat has small tear. Missing door sill plate on right rear door. Body in good condition, miscellaneous scratches 360° around unit. Missing front diamond plate panel for the bumper is in the back seat of the truck. Both side view mirrors took heat at one time and are deformed. Lightbar operational, body strobes are not. Rear bumper has a crack on the left side. Unit equipped with a Kussmaul charger and plug is located at the drivers door, below the seat. This unit was a solid performer, great truck for a property owner, fire agency or volunteer department or collector of fire apparatus.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
City of Modesto will charge applicable sales tax [8.875%]. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 9.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
